‘I have had a holiday home here at Sunnyside for the past 15 years. It is as near to perfect as you could possibly get. 
Sunnyside is a sensitively run and well managed park with friendly, helpful and hard working managers (Eileen and Pete) who will always go that extra mile to help. This is one of my priorities and is at the core of a happy environment.
Because the park is for mature adults, I have found life long friendships here and inner peace from the tranquillity of an uncommercialised seaside haven.
As a single person, I appreciate never having to mow the grass as Pete keeps all areas of the park well mown and strimmed.
I love the honesty shop, the library, social space, the proximity of the railway station, and the laundry facilities.
I go to sleep at night with the sound of the sea in my ears and wake feeling safe, secure and content beyond my wildest dreams.’ A.S. 

‘After more than 20 years on site, I list some of the services worth mentioning:
Office is open regularly and an emergency number available. 
There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
The Hideaway is a small building with sea views, tea & coffee available, used books donated by caravan owners, cd’s, dvd’s, games, puzzles each for 30p….going to charity. Free Internet inside, sometimes nearby.
At entrance a selection of groceries and papers. Main supermarkets deliver to site.
Social events are held.
There are recycling facilities on site.
There are rules of course, which enable an enjoyable and peaceful stay for all.
Lastly but by no means least, Sunnyside and Sunnysiders are blessed with the impeccable management of Ei, Pete, Luke and Phil. All of which are so helpful and friendly.’ J.P.

‘I couldn’t recommend life at Sunnyside Caravan Park highly enough.
My friends have been trying to persuade me to come here for a couple of years. My only hesitation was my increasing mobility issues but very fortunately for me a home came up directly opposite my friends and next to Bishopstone platform gate… just perfect as I don’t drive.
It is the best thing I’ve ever done! Sunset views from every window and wild rabbits – just love it!
The whole park is incredibly well looked after, many thanks entirely to Eileen and Pete’s efforts. An office building, community events and the grounds beautifully mowed and strimmed too. Nothing is too much trouble and have been very impressed with the speed things are dealt with. I realise I am very, very lucky indeed and am very grateful that all is sorted so efficiently. This of course is a huge relief when I don’t drive and have health issues too.
My friends and family love it here too. Can’t recommend highly enough.’ W.H.

‘It’s hard to know where to start.
We’re new to this caravan experience but what we are sure about is that we’ve landed on our feet.
Sunnyside is in a beautiful position, so quiet & great views over the sea.
Easy access to the quiet beach. Good for early morning swims. Sometimes there is nobody else around.
Bishopstone station is only a gate away from us. Handy for Lewes & Brighton (35 mins).
Great for people who like countryside/cliff walks.
The cherry on the cake is lovely people managing the site.
Since Eileen & Pete have been here there have been so many improvements. Eileen is a dynamo with a vision for the place. Pete is so helpful & friendly. Both natural people. Nothing is too much for them.
You would be hard pressed to find a better place.

‘We find Sunnyside is a very scenic and peaceful environment to come too. We feel safe, comfortable and have all the amenities we need whilst only site.
Whilst being new to Sunnyside, we have felt welcomed and supported by the lovely park Manager’s; Eileen and Pete, and the friendly community residing there. We feel that we can contribute and ideas we have about possible developments.
We attended a ‘Remembrance day’ tea party that everyone was invited to at the community hub. It was wonderful to meet a diverse range of people and to feel accepted into the fold.
Eileen and Pete have great communication and have efficiently and considerately resolve any teething issues we have experienced on settling into the park.’ R & N
